Savour a full week of excitement in one of the top regions of Europe. Discover on your scooter the hidden jewels of Tuscany and enjoy Italian lifestyle and cuisine to the fullest. Florence will be our host on this Tuscany by Scooter tour, and Florence with its sights is worth this trip alone. There will be enough time during this week to discover the amazing town center, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From Florence we'll take a scooter tour every day to the most amazing sights nearby. Our first tour will take us to the small walled medieval hill town of San Gimignano. This town, founded by the Etruscans in the 3rd century BC, is famous mainly for its beautiful towers. The historic center is one of the many UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Italy. The second ride will roll gently through the hills of one of the world's famous wine regions, Chianti, before entering the beautiful town of Siena, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Siena you'll learn all about the Palio di Siena with enough time to stroll through the streets and enjoy a cappuccino on the Piazza del Campo. Arezzo, our next destination, was one of the most powerful Etruscan towns in the past. Nowadays, the beautiful old city is the center of the Italian jewellery industry and uses up to ten tons of gold every month. The region north of Florence, called Mugello is maybe best known for the annual Moto GP at the Mugello racetrack, but has much more to offer. The hills and roads of this region seem to have been made expressly for our scooters, and this day will be just a lot of fun with scootering, relaxing and enjoying the Italian lifestyle. One big sight is still missing: the Leaning Tower of Pisa. We'll park our scooters right in front of it on Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Wonders). Of course, we'll climb the stairs and from above have a fantastic view. You might already have tears in your eyes, because the end of this fantastic tour is nearing and it's time to say goodbye to Tuscany.
