We'll take you (in 3 stages) from the southernmost city in the world: Ushuaia (Argentina), through Argentina, Chile and Bolivia to Arequipa in southern Peru,

This is a "Once in a Lifetime", 6250 mile motor-adventure on the southern hemisphere.

Stage 1:

Day 1 and 2 --- Arrival in Ushuaia
Through Santiago (Chile) or Buenos Aires (Argentina) you will arrive in Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world! The next day you have a day of leisure in this town. Stroll the streets or take a boattrip on the Beagle Channel.

Day 3, 4, and 5 --- Ushauaia - Cerro Sombrero - Puerto Natales
We start our "Dirt Bikes" and our tour. Up ahead to Cerro Sombrero, a very little town on the "Straights of Magellan". We ride through Tierra del Fuego and we'll have to cross the border to Chile for the first time on our tour. Here starts the first dirt-tracks. The next day we cross the straights by ferry and over the windy pampa to Puerto Natales. We stay 2 nights in this town. From here we do a daytrip to the National Park of "Torres del Paine", with it's beautiful peaks and lakes.

Day 6 and 7 --- Puerto Natales - El Calafate
We have to cross the border into Argentina and we will ride in two days to the lovely town of El Calafate. The next days we'll give our bikes a resting-day and we will take a boattrip to the magnificent "Perito Moreno Glacier". This glacier is part of the biggest ice-field on earth.

Day 8 and 9 --- El Calafate - El Agonstura
We follow the "Ruta 40" highway northbound. In two days we arrive in the middle of nowhere in a surprisingly nice estancia: "La Agonstura".

Day 10, 11 and 12 --- La Agonstura - Perito Moreno - Puerto Guadal - Coihaique
When leaving the very nice estancia 'La Agonstura', we follow the Ruta 40 to the north. After a night in Perito Moreno, we'll have to cross the border into Chile (again). We ride for miles and miles along the shores of the beautiful Lago General Carrera over a unpaved road to Puerto Guadal. Here we stay in a very nice hotel with spectacular views on the lake. The next day we take the famous "Carretera Austral" northbound to Coihaique.

Day 13, 14 and 15 --- Coihaique - La Junta - Esquel - Bariloche (End of Stage 1)
Over the famous unpaved Carretera Austral with amazing views, we are heading north to La Junta, a little forgotten town. Further to Esquel and the next day we will arrive in the 'Aspen' of South America: San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina's most famous ski-resort and a Dutch royal hide-out.


Stage 2:

Day 1 --- Arrival in Bariloche

The participants who leave the tour here will fly, via Santiago or Buenos Aires, home. Our new guests will be picked up at the airport of Bariloche. We will brief you about the tour. The rest of the day is to explore this nice city.

Day 2 --- Bariloche - San Martin de los Andes

We start our "Dirt Bikes" for Stage 2 of this tour. A beautiful ride is our part. An easy riding-day for our starters to San Martin de los Andes.

Day 3 and 4 --- San Martin de los Andes - Zapala - Chos Malal
(Continue: Day 18 and 19)
From San Martin de los Andes it is only 2 days to Chos Malal, on the foot of this majestic mountain-range. The scenery is spectacular.

Day 5, 6 and 7 --- Chos Malal - Malagüe - Mendoza
(Continue: Day 19, 20 and 21)
And we arrive in the wine-region of Mendoza. Day 7 (21) is a day at leisure in Mendoza.

Day 8 --- Mendoza Homewards, via Santiago or Buenos Aires (End Stage 2)

For the riders who did (only) Stage 2, the tour ends here. The participants who leave the tour here will fly, via Santiago or Buenos Aires, home.


Stage 3:

Day 1 --- Arrival in Mendoza

We will pick you up on the airport of Mendoza. We will brief you about the tour. The rest of the day is to explore this nice city.

Day 2, 3 and 4 --- Mendoza - S.A. de Valle Fértil - Villa Union - Belén

From Mendoza we ride in 3 days to Belén. Mostly on gravel-roads.

Day 5, 6 and 7 --- Belén - Cayafate - Cachi - Salta
(Continue: Day 26, 27 and 28)
Over the famous partially unpaved Ruta 40 (Argentinian Route 40), with amazing views, we are heading north to the wine-region around Cafayate. We can visit in Quilmes one of the southernmost Inca-ruins. Further north via a very nice hacienda near Cachi, to the lovely city of Salta.

Day 8, 9 and 10 --- Salta - Humahuaca - Tupiza - Uyuni

On the slopes of the mighty Andes we are still heading north and in 2 days we reach the Argentinian-Bolivian border at Tupiza. This is the place where Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid spent their last days. Once in Bolivia the bad gravel-roads will be our part. All the way up to the hotel on the shores of the biggest saltlakes on earth: Salar de Uyuni. Of course we wil ride the slatflats. It depends on the weather we can do this on our bikes or in a 4x4. The saltflats are stunning! We spend the night in rural Uyuni.

Day 11, 12 and 13 --- Uyuni - Tahua - Oruro - La Paz

Depending the weather we are going to ride the Salar and sleep in Tahua on the north-shore of the saltflats. The following day it is a long ride to Oruro and the next day we arrive in La Paz, the unofficial capitol of Bolivia. Here you can visit the famous Witch-market and all the other sites.

Day 14, 15 and 16 --- La Paz - Coroico - Copacabana

Through La Paz, we go down into the tropical Yungas. We'll spend two nights in Coroico. Over the one and only 'Death road' we ride back to La Paz. And further to the famous little town of Copacabana on the shores of Lake Titicaca.

Day 17, 18 and 19 --- Copacabana - Puno - Moquegua - Arequipa

For the last time we have to cross the border, and in this case to Peru. In the city of Puno we can make an excursion on the Lake Titicaca. We follow our way to Moquegua, the copper-capitol of Peru. And then... the last riding-day of this tour. Through the desert to our hometown of Arequipa in the south of Peru.

Day 20 and 21 --- Arequipa - Lima - Homebound (End Stage 3)

Arequipa is a very good city te relax and you will need it ! We'll have a good alpaca-steak in town, with some beers to get the dust out of our throats. The next day we'll take you to the airport for your flight home, via Lima.
